While this may seem like a simple
question to answer, the answer is truly a little more complicated.
There are several things to think about when considering what
sized mattress to buy, including space, and how much room
you actually need. You should carefully consider these things
before you even head into the showroom.
The first consideration is room, and you have to make sure
that your bed will fit into the space that you currently inhabit.
It is a huge disappointment to get your bed back into your
room and find that it fills the space completely, or that
it will not fit at all. You will not be doing yourself any
favors if you have to take the mattress back to the store
after you have gotten it home, and some places will not even
accept the mattress back!
The other consideration is how much space you actually need
to inhabit in the bed. You will likely not need a king sized
bed if you live alone, and you can save yourself a lot of
money by buying a smaller mattress or one that fits your current
frame. If you are sharing a bed or expect to be sharing one
in the near future, you may want to consider a larger size,
especially if one or both of you moves a lot in your sleep.
With these considerations in mind, it will be easy to get
the perfect mattress.
