Gwyneth Paltrow 'praises eight hours sleep a night'
Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow has proved she is just as much a fan of sleeping in bed as the next person, after claiming that her doctors tell her to make sure she gets forty winks every night.
According to a blog on osoyou.com, the actress has found that getting eight hours of sleep along with plenty of exercise helps her to stay healthy and in shape.
In her latest email newsletter, Gwyneth claims that her New York cardiologist Dr Alejandro Junger told her: "After two weeks of sleeping and eating better, you'll have the energy to exercise."
He also recommended walking for 15 minutes a day as a good way to start getting fit.
On its website, the NHS advises people to exercise as it can help them to sleep better. However, the organisation warns that physical activity should be carried out a few hours before bedtime, giving the body time to cool down.
