Tempur mattresses for hospital expansion
Patients in the newly opened Mount Auburn Hospital expansion in America find they have an even comfier sleep than normal as some of the beds have been fitted with Tempur Mattresses.
The new Frank Stanton building, which cost $82 million (£54 million), will open to the public on Friday after taking five years to plan and build.
Tempur mattresses will be used in the intensive care units, which also feature flat-screen televisions and silent, wireless monitoring systems for the nurses to supervise patients.
Jeanette Clough, president and chief executive officer of Mount Auburn hospital, said: "We are so pleased to be able to provide greater depth and breadth of service to our patients due to this wonderful building."
Local artists have donated textiles and photographs to adorn the walls of the units and there is a 'memorabilia wall' in the front lobby.
Tempur mattresses may benefit many people as they feature memory foam technology which moulds to the sleeper's body and can help relieve aches and joint pain.
