Cats sleep in luxury with four pillows on a bed

Many women share their bed with their husband or partner every night and some may even have their children clambering under the duvet in the morning to wake them up.

However, one woman has some more unconventional partners sharing her mattress – four cats.

Writing for the Daily Mail, Liz Jones has described how her four pet moggies each have their own pillow on her bed to sleep on.

Furthermore, there is also medicine kept on the bedside table in case she should wake with a cough during the night and disturb her cats while they are sleeping.

"I sleep like a motionless star fish, a puss embedded in every angle," Ms Jones writes.

Earlier this week, it was reported that parents who fall asleep with their babies in bed with them are not putting their child at increased risk of sudden infant death syndrome.
