Council tells mayor 'to go to bed'
People are often all too happy to get home from work to relax and watch television in bed.
However, one busy mayor is the opposite, prompting her council to impose a curfew on how long she can stay at work in her office.
According to the Metro, a city council in California has banned its mayor Blanca Figueroa from working past 11pm every night.
She normally stays late at the city hall as she claims that she needs the time to go through correspondence as her days are taken up by meetings.
However, members of the council say they have safety concerns about their mayor not getting enough sleep in a comfy bed.
Ms Figueroa has described the curfew as "petty".
Weary workers may want to consider investing in a Tempur mattress so that when they do go to bed every night they are nice and comfy, as the product's memory foam technology allows it to mould to the owner's body shape.
