Generous firm donates mattresses to children

One company has entered into the spirit of Christmas and has provided some needy children with a gift that will really benefit them over the festive season.

According to MLive.com, Prime Brother Furniture has donated 116 twin-sized mattress sets to the Material Assistance Centre which provides basic necessities to those in need.

The move comes after Kristal Corrion, coordinater of the centre, claimed that every child should have a bed to sleep in over the holiday season.

Since receiving the donation, Ms Corrion said her centre is now delivering up to 25 beds a day to those in need.

She said: "We meet with clients firsthand and they have to tell us they need a bed for their child. Most of these kids are sleeping on the floor."

Yesterday it was reported by the Yorkshire Post that some lucky people are now splashing out on mattresses padded with wool, which can cost up to £2,500.
