Kylie Minogue launches bed linen range

Kylie Minogue has proved she is a woman of many talents and has now turned her hand to interior design for the bedroom.

The singer has launched her own range of bed linen, just in time for Christmas, called Kylie At Home.

It is inspired by a hand-painted book of kimono designs and a silk and crystal-studded panelled wall she has in her bedroom.

Vintage fabrics and a 1930s eiderdown Kylie found on eBay also provided the starting point for some of the designs, Ideal Home reports.

"I was totally hands-on with the design," the pop star said.

"I invited the design team to my home and walked and talked them through some of my favourite design and furnishing elements."

There are seven different styles of bed linen in the room, meaning there is likely to be something to suit many people's tastes.

Generous Kylie recently treated the 85-person crew from her KylieX2008 concert to Christmas dinner at a gastro-pub in Melbourne, the Herald Sun wrote.
