Tempur mattresses 'give relief to Rugby stars'

It seems as though some sports stars are recognising the benefits putting a Tempur mattress on their beds.

According to the company's website, in 2005 it signed a three-year agreement with the English Rugby Football union to supply it with mattresses and pillows for members' beds, plus travel and seating products.

The entire team along with all of their trainers received the products from Tempur as part of the deal.

Dave Reddin, fitness coach to the Rugby Union World Champions, highlighted how important it is for sports stars to get a decent night's sleep in bed before a match.

He claimed that he chose Tempur products "because the proven pressure relieving properties will not only improve the sleep quality and comfort for the players but will also help to increase the speed of recovery after games and injury".

Tempur claims that its mattresses and pillows can be put on a bed to help relieve headaches and stiff necks, fibrositis, sciatica and painful hip joints.
