'Bring your pillows' when testing out mattresses
People looking to find the bed that is most suitable for them should bring along their own pillows in order to test them out, it has been suggested.
Lifestyle expert Elizabeth Mayhew, of MSNBC's Today Show, said that trying mattresses out in person is the best way to find the right bed and that people can still purchase them online afterwards.
"If you are a couple, shop together and if possible bring your pillows with you," she said.
"Make sure you lie on a mattress for at least ten minutes in your normal sleep position."
