Ever wished you could make money while staying in your comfortable contemporary bed? If so, then NASA may have the solution for you.
The US space technology company is seeking participants for its latest research programme - and is offering eager bed-heads $17,000 (£8,680) to stay in bed for three consecutive months, according to Wired Science.
NASA's website is quoted as stating: "Participants will spend 90 days lying in bed, (except for limited times for specific tests) with their body slightly tilted downward (head down, feet up).
"Every day, they will be awake for 16 hours and lights out (asleep) for eight hours."
The experiment will be carried out in the Human Test Subject Facility of Houston's Johnson Space Centre and is designed to help scientists gain insight into the effects of mircogravity on the human body, the website reports.
Tempurbeds were originally designed for use by NASA, to protect astronauts from gravitational changes during take-off and landing, thanks to their revolutionary body-moulding memory foam mattresses, which alleviate the body's natural pressure points.
Classic Bed Company is the UK's premier bed store for ultimate comfort and luxury offering Tempur, Vi Spring, Willis and Gambier and French Sleigh beds.
