A company in the US has revealed that it will sell an innovative new product which could help people with allergies protect their bed and pillows.
According to Furniture World Magazine, FabricTech 2000 has announced that it will begin to distribute its PillowBarrier Pure Flow at retailers in the US and via the internet.
The product features an air-filtration membrane which traps allergens, dust mites, germs and impurities before they reach either the pillow or the sleeper.
As dust mites thrive on skin flakes and moisture, they love to make pillows and mattresses their homes. Even in the cleanest home, these pests can be found, potentially ruining new beds, pillows and mattresses.
However, the new technology from the US will prevent these creatures entering bedding and so protect the mattress and pillows for longer.
The products are available in a number of sizes, which can be fitted to all sorts of mattresses and pillows, including premier premium memory and latex foam mattresses - such as Tempur products.
