Bedtime tale recommended to ease kids to sleep

A new children's book featuring the story of the Little Gray Hare who does not want to go to bed has been recommended as a "charming tale" for children to enjoy.

By the Light of the Silvery Moon, written by Claire Freedman, features a wide-awake rabbit who is not feeling tired enough to go to bed, but instead wants to stay up and play.

Not wanting to play alone, the hare seeks out ducklings, kittens, chicks and piglets to play outside the farm, before they get tired and go to bed themselves.

"This story about bedtime is certainly a perfect bedtime story to tell," TheCelebrityCafe.com reports.

It adds that the book is a comforting and soothing one for children to read themselves or follow along to, with a picture of a moon on every page to fit in with the nighttime theme.

The Bromsgrove Reporter recently gave an account of a bedtime story session held by childern at Rubery library, which saw the youngsters put on their dressing gowns for some early bedtime tales.

Parents wanting their children to get a good night's sleep may want to purchase a Tempur mattress made of breathable fabric.
