A company from the US has begun to market a product which could be perfect for people that find their bed so comfortable that they struggle to get up in the morning.
Gauri Nanda, a MIT graduate from the US, found, like many people, that she struggled to get up and often just repeatedly hit the 'snooze' button on her alarm so that she could continue to enjoy her bed.
However, as a budding expert in electronics, Ms Nanda created an innovative solution to her sleep problem, the Boston Globe reports.
As part of an industrial design course in 2004, Ms Nanda created 'Clocky' - an alarm clock with wheels which hides and emits beeps and lights when someone hit the snooze button. This forces the person to wake to find the alarm.
''The idea is one that really resonates with people," Nanda's adviser, V Michael Bove Jr, told the paper. ''It's an example of technology applied to a product that lets you have more of a relationship with it. It's predictable, but not too predictable. It hides in a different place all the time."
Now, after several years of development, Clocky is available to buy in the US, meaning that people with really comfortable beds will have the incentive they need to help them get up in the morning.
Classic Bed Company is the UK's premier bed store for ultimate comfort and luxury offering Tempur, Vi Spring and French Sleigh beds
A French Sleigh bed is so comfortable that even Clocky might struggle to get you up.
