Nicole Kidman spotted shopping for new mattress

Actress and new mother, Nicole Kidman, was spotted in Tennessee out buying a new mattress.

The Australian-born star and her husband, country musician Keith Urban, were seen browsing in a Nashville mattress shop, reports celebrity site the Gossip Girls.

The couple entered and left the shop separately, but this is the second public outing since the birth of their daughter Sunday Rose on July 7th.

According to the Los Angeles Times Hot Property column, the pair recently moved in to new contemporary-style house in Beverly Hills.

Like many mothers with young babies, Nicole is probably keen to improve the quality of her sleep.

According to Parenting magazine, new mothers average four hours of sleep night, sometimes less for those who are breastfeeding.

Around two-thirds of new fathers sleep right through and 22 per cent never get up.

Representatives for Nicole Kidman recently confirmed she will not be selling pictures of her new baby and has turned down numerous offers from magazines.
