Unwell Brits 'not getting enough bed-rest'
British workers who are unwell are going back to work too early instead of spending time recovering in bed, results of a new survey have shown.
Rather than resting on a comfy mattress, people go to work at least four days a year on average when they should be at home, Sambucol claims.
Working mums are especially hard-working as it was discovered that eight out of ten say they would not take time off, despite how unwell they may be feeling.
Dr Serene Foster, an immunologist and registered medical herbalist speaking on behalf of Sambuco,l said: "It is the start of the cold and flu season and it's important to maintain a healthy immune system."
To do this people may find that a good night's sleep on a Willis and Gambier or Contemporary bed may help them to stay fit and healthy.
