Jazz singer says mattress makes her feel "euphoric"

A jazz singer has praised memory foam mattresses, telling the Independent how much she loves sleeping on them.

Clare Teal described to the newspaper she decided to invest in a new mattress because her old one had "springs where no springs should be".

She said the new mattress made her feel "euphoric" and that she had never slept so well, especially as she spends a great deal of the time in hotel room because she travels around the world for her job.

Ms Teal claimed: "It's like sitting in a bag of comfortable sand. You feel extraordinarily cocooned and cosy."

Although more expensive than a spring mattress, she said the new memory foam model, which arrived at her home vacuum packed, was definitely an investment.
