Tired Brits 'take sneaky naps at work'
Some people are not getting enough time lying in bed or on a comfy mattress meaning they are increasingly tired at work, it has been found.
According to research by retailer Boots, a quarter of British workers have admitted to falling asleep on the job with 72 per cent saying they lack energy and fell sluggish during the winter.
A further 66 per cent say they need more sleep as the nights draw in and 32 per cent say they've had a nap while at work, the Daily Record reports.
Angela Chalmers, a Boots pharmacist, said: "Our research shows that people need something to help get them through the day without napping at their desks."
She also acknowledged it can be difficult to keep energy levels up in the winter.
Having somewhere cosy and comfortable to rest every night could help people to get a better sleep, meaning they are less tired. A Willis and Gambier or French Sleigh bed could be just the thing needed.
