By taking a few simple precautions you can ensure a long life for your Tempur mattress and many years of restful sleep for you. Most of the suggestions which follow are common sense; but with bigger things on most of our minds that the state of our mattresses it's important to reiterate them.

• Always use the waterproof Tempur cover provided with your mattress; the Tempur material is moisture sensitive and must be kept covered at all times.

• Wash the removable cover periodically.

• Most mattresses require turning frequently; however, Tempur mattresses require non whatsoever.

• Do not sit on the edge of the mattress frequently or for prolonged periods.

• Do not compress for prolonged periods; either for transport or storage purposes.

• Do not let the kids jump or play on your mattress.

• Ensure your Tempur mattress is placed on an appropriate bed or base; it should be firm, flat and high quality. Positioning your mattress on an unsuitable surface can impair its supportive qualities.

• Store flat; if you need to put your mattress into storage do not stand it on end, lay it flat on an even surface.

• Do not attempt to clean the Tempur material; if you are using the cover provided there should be no need.

A long life
